Been having shoulder pain for 3-4 years & finally decided to do something about it. Was referred out to SCOI & was fortunate to have Dr. Merriman as my provider. Did some treatments that helped temporarily but ended up deciding on surgery due to Calcific Tendinitis and Rotator Cuff tear. Dr. Merriman explain what the surgery consisted of, the process & what to expect after surgery. He was spot on! Surgery was done 6/2/26 & I thought post op pain was going to be intense but he did such a great job, it’s been manageable. He is very compassionate when speaking to his patients. I am 2 weeks post-op today (6/16/26) & he has checked in with me daily with important information & reminders of what to do, not to do & what to continue to expect as I recover. And questions/concerns I have, have been answered. He is an AMAZING Doctor/Surgeon & definitely recommend him if you are considering in having orthopedic surgery.
